YouTube Symphony - revealing the collective unconscience

YouTube's recent demonstration of a designed and managed symphony orchestra is showcased in a video that comprised of 3,000 individual submissions.

YouTube have a long way to go before they can recreate the sense of togetherness felt among chanting sports fans or singing church goers, but this does give us a sneak peak at what could be possible, and at how we can use our digital platforms to express ourselves in a true digital democracy.

I wonder, are we only switched 'on' when we are logged 'in'? Where is our future reality? Whatever the answer, we are now - more than ever before in history - in a position to explore it together.
